What is a Women’s Business Mastermind?
The Founding Females® women business mastermind is a female entrepreneur online space where members connect daily with the community for ideas about how to grow their businesses and as business owners.
Inside the Mastermind community is a buzzing conversation about business topics that really matter to small business owners, like effective marketing strategy, how to achieve work/life balance, and personal development tips that translate into mindset growth.
Each month, Mastermind members have access to a transformative one-hour Mastermind call where all members share their best business wisdom on a specific topic.
Monthly Mastermind calls are a way for women business owners to link arms and pour into each other so everyone in the Mastermind community can advance forward in their businesses.
Starting a New Business
For many women, business ownership has been on our hearts for years. Rarely does it feel like the perfect time to start something new or take a big risk.
That’s the story for Janelle Reeb, founder of JReeb Consulting. I first talked with Janelle about her business idea on the phone when I published Dream, Build, Grow: A Female’s Step-by-Step Guide for How to Start a Business in 2022. Janelle had a dream on her heart and was thinking about taking the leap into entrepreneurship.
Fast forward to the beginning of 2024 when Janelle joined the Founding Females® Business Bootcamp to begin laying the foundation for her new business and soon after decided to level up within the Founding Females® Mastermind.
Now, Janelle has launched her consulting business where she provides professional development, training, and coaching for frontline leaders that enhances team performance through immersive 'Huddle' experiences. Huddle topics include Leadership 101, Thriving Amid Stress, Teamwork 101 and Customer Service Done Right. Janelle offers preview experiences to provide a taste of the positive results her coaching provides.

FF: Janelle, please introduce us to ‘JReeb Consulting.’
Janelle: JReeb Consulting provides professional development, training, and coaching for frontline leaders that enhances team performance through immersive 'Huddle' experiences.
Our mission is creating tailored opportunities for teams to foster deeper connections, uncover intrinsic motivators driving behavior, refine communication strategies, and cultivate an environment where individuals bring out the best in each other.
By facilitating these transformative 'Huddles,' we equip teams with the tools and insights needed to thrive collaboratively and achieve exceptional results.
FF: Tell us about how your business came to be.
Janelle: As my life responsibilities shifted at the beginning of the new year, 2024, I have stepped out in faith and opened an LLC to pursue a passion I have to empower leaders in enhancing team performance through immersive 'Huddle' experiences.
Within six weeks time - I had a mentor, I was taking a bootcamp to learn the basics of being a business owner and I connected with the SBDC (Small Business Development Center). I am so thankful for all three, they have been great resources.
FF: Who do you love working with and helping?
Janelle: I love to work with those in small to mid-sized business in any industry.
Teams of people who work together toward a common mission/goal. Frontline leaders who want to grow their leadership and essential work skills so they can empower others to lead.
FF: How would you describe your own personal growth journey through entrepreneurship?
Janelle: My personal growth journey through entrepreneurship is budding. I am in the early stages, sowing a lot of seeds.
Right now this includes continuing the customer discovery process, learning to refine my target market, learning what are good questions to ask to start intentional conversation, preparing for the upcoming preview event I'm hosting in June. It is already demonstrating promise as I reflect on small wins each week.
A few wins include -
building a website and a brand that reflects what we stand for,
opportunities to share with a leadership team,
listening to their challenges that they are facing in their business as they have grown quickly,
encouraging teams to build trust through learning to understand each other's differences and what drives their behavior,
finding opportunities to partner with organizations who support small businesses, and
actively listening to others’ journeys in entrepreneurship.

FF: Why did you decide to join the Founding Females® Mastermind?
Janelle: I joined Founding Females Mastermind to learn from other successful entrepreneurs and find a community I can ask questions, bounce ideas off of, and get quality feedback.
FF: What else should we know about you?
Janelle: I'm a team player, as I continue to build my team at Jreeb Consulting, it is important to me that I'm around people who are heading in the same direction.
