This month, we’re so excited to introduce you to Kaitlyn Wagner, the heart and lens behind Captured Photography By K. Wagner.
If you’ve hung around Founding Females® very long, you’ll recognize Kaitlyn’s work from our Women, Wealth, and Wellness event in collaboration with WTVP-PBS in the Fall of 2025 - She was our official photographer for that event and she nailed it!

From Disposable Cameras to a Dream in Motion
Kaitlyn’s story starts long before her business officially launched. As a little girl, she was rarely seen without a camera in hand, always capturing moments, making memories, and eagerly asking her grandma to develop every disposable camera she could get her hands on. (A detail she says might date her just a little but also makes the story that much sweeter.)
Fast forward to today: at 30 years young, Kaitlyn’s passion came full circle when her husband gifted her the very camera she had been saving for over a year.
Instead of waiting for the “perfect” moment, she made a decision.
She used what she had saved, leaned into her passion, and officially launched her business in Fall 2025.
Now, her mission is simple and powerful: to capture memories that last a lifetime.
Creating Meaningful Moments for Families
Kaitlyn specializes in portrait and event photography, with a special love for working with families and especially moms who want to intentionally capture meaningful seasons of life.
Whether it’s a themed session, a milestone, or simply preserving everyday magic, Kaitlyn brings a thoughtful and personal touch to every shoot.
And while she’s already serving families beautifully, she’s just getting started.
She’s actively exploring new opportunities within the photography industry and is excited to expand her offerings as she grows.

Entrepreneurship has stretched her in all the right ways. She describes her growth journey as learning to trust her instincts and move forward even when there are unknowns.
One question continues to guide her:
“What is the worst that could happen?”
Instead of letting fear stop her, she uses that question as fuel, pushing her to take risks, stay curious, and step into new possibilities.
Finding Community Over Competition
Kaitlyn’s decision to join the Founding Females® Mastermind came from a deep desire for something she hadn’t experienced before: true community.
After being part of MLM spaces that often felt competitive, she knew she wanted something different this time around.
She found it here.
Here, she found a space where women support one another, where growth isn’t a competition, where collaboration replaces comparison, and once she experienced that firsthand, she knew she wanted to be part of it.
A Vision That Reaches Beyond Today
Kaitlyn isn’t thinking small.
As she looks ahead, she’s excited to grow her business into surrounding communities and eventually launch a Senior Rep Program to create opportunities for connection, visibility, and expansion.
It’s a vision rooted in both creativity and strategy and we’re here cheering her on as it unfolds.

When it comes to business, Kaitlyn is especially drawn to conversations around mindset and learning from others who have gone before her.
