Women’s Business Mastermind Feature: Traci Kingdon, founder of Daisy Kings Tallow Products
I always say, female founders are writing a new playbook for entrepreneurship. Here’s what I notice about women starting businesses:
Women build businesses in the cracks of life. For instance, we figure out how to create value during nap time, send off emails while waiting in the school pick up lane, craft up a blog post after the babes are sound asleep, and overall build our businesses in the small increments of time between other responsibilities.
We deliver on an unmet need planted passionately in our hearts. Our businesses most often stem from walking in our purpose - work we feel created to do.
Our super-power is community. We’re masters at leaning into our support squad. We link arms, share knowledge, and do business together, most especially those who are solopreneurs.
Our businesses become a reflection of our values. Authenticity is important to women. We use our businesses to vote about how we want the world to work.
Traci Kingdon, the founder behind Daisy Kings Tallow Products, is the perfect example. Her business is rooted in figuring out a solution for her son’s skin struggles. Knowing other people had to be facing the same challenges too, she dove in head first to business ownership.
Nourish. Restore. Glow. That’s the tagline of Daisy Kings. Daisy Kings is known for handcrafted, regenerative farmed, and grass fed tallow products. Rooted in faith and agriculture and a figure-outter at heart, Traci is quickly becoming a strong addition to our women’s business mastermind.
First, let’s cover what a mastermind is.
What is a women’s business mastermind?
The Founding Females® women’s business mastermind group is a female entrepreneur space online away from social media where members find support and belonging in a community full of ideas about how to grow their businesses.
Inside the women’s mastermind community is a buzzing conversation about business topics that help women up-skill while running their businesses. Inside, we talk through topics important to female entrepreneurs like:
how to create strategic partnerships that drive referrals,
money management and money mindset shifts,
building a business around your life and not a life around your business (so important for female entrepreneurs especially!), and
how to price your products and increase your prices.
Each month, Founding Females® Mastermind members access a transformative one-hour mastermind call where all members share their best business wisdom on a specific business topic. Outside of that call, women engage daily inside the community through posts, comments, and direct messages. It’s the dialogue and connection that fuels growth. We just happen to do it with a safe, supportive, and nurturing vibe.
Friends, Meet Traci Kingdon, Founder of Daisy Kings
Now that you know what a mastermind is, let’s meet one of our mastermind members, Traci Kingdon! Traci’s story is proof that with an open heart and a strong business idea, anything can happen!
Let’s dive into more of Traci’s business journey.
Founding Females®: Traci, let’s hear more about your company, Daisy Kings.
Traci: I handcraft tallow based skincare products out of our home in Central Illinois.
I grew up on a family farm in Northern Illinois and studied agricultural business at Illinois State.
It has been fun and rewarding, after 7 years as a SAHM, to start my own “ag business.”
Founding Females®: Tell us about how Daisy Kings came to be a small business.
Traci: I first learned about tallow lotions in 2021 after taking a family trip to the West Coast. At this same time our middle son was experiencing severe eczema on his legs.
Since he was only 1.5 years old at the time, he was hesitant for me to try a new lotion since all of the ones past had caused him pain and irritation.
Once I was able to test the tallow lotion on his poor, little legs, he begged for more! Fast forward to spring of 2024, I had begun rendering and crafting our own tallow skincare for my family.
In April I had a college reunion planned and decided to take some samples to the girls. They all tried it, loved the feel, and encouraged me to start a business.
It took another few months before I finally mustered up the courage and ditched the self doubt to officially launch Daisy Kings in August of 2024! I haven’t looked back since.
Founding Females®: What kind of client are you best fit to serve?
Traci: My ideal customer is anyone with skin! I myself, thankfully have not suffered from any skin irritations or dermatological issues, and I see and feel the benefits.
I have received many testimonies from customers, men and women alike, who have seen improvements in their skin’s texture, elasticity, and overall appearance since using Daisy Kings!

Founding Females®: Share a client success story!
Traci: “Last year, I was diagnosed with cancer and started searching for cleaner products to use for myself and my family. I also had a large scar on my neck after surgery that I needed to keep moisturized. I started using the Raw Honey Face Cream in October and have noticed a significant change in my scar area. It has faded in color and is smoother! We have enjoyed trying each new product and use Moo Magic for each “boo boo” our children have. I love knowing that these products I’m using on my body and on my kids are both natural and effective!” - Sarah G
Founding Females®: How would you describe your own personal growth journey through entrepreneurship?
Traci: Wow! Taking this leap of faith and starting Daisy Kings has taught me so much.
From focus, to customer relations, to handling losses and staying humble during victories.
Founding Females®: Traci, tell us about your favorite business topics.
Traci: I love being with people and discussing the why behind my products. I listen to a lot of health-related podcasts and I see the effort people put in to bettering themselves daily.
I often think about tallow skincare as “feeding your skin”. Just as we exercise, take supplements, and nourish our bodies with food, we should also take care of our skin in the same way.
Founding Females®: Why did you decide to join the Founding Females® Mastermind?
Traci: I decided to join to gain the community. I believe in Francie and her mission. I am so excited to cheer others on and receive that support as well.
Founding Females®: Let’s get connected! Share with us where you’re spending time.
